RYAA programs does allow players the option to "play up" one league level, but players cannot play down.  For example, an 10U player can play in the 12U league (normally 11 and 12 year olds), but a 12U player cannot play in the 10U league. This option is available for very skilled players that are not being challenged enough at their current level. Please be sure when signing your child up for a higher league, as they will be playing with bigger players and may feel intimidated.

Players need only provide a glove in order to play! RYAA will provide bats, balls, and batting helmets to each team, as well as provide jerseys to each player. Players are also welcome to bring their own gear, but please be sure your name appears somewhere in case it gets left behind!

Registration for the spring/summer programs begins in the late fall and continues into March. Parents can register online on this page when the programs appear below, or fill out a form and mail it.  Forms will be sent home from school or downloaded by clicking here.

IMPORTANT: Full payment is due at time of registration! All payments are made via Paypal, which is able to accept payments with or without a Paypal account.  If you do not have a Paypal account, you may still make payment from a credit card, debit card, or eCheck. Registrations without payment will not be processed.

Girls 12U Softball (Off-Season Practice)

Girls Softball program for ages 12 and under (grades 5 and 6). This is only for off-season practice.

In this league, the players continue pitching the ball, but balls are counted and batters can be walked.  Players continue to build their softball skills in hitting, running, and fielding.  Only the official field positions are played, so extra players are rotated between positions.

The only equipment a player must provide is their own glove.  Bats, batting helmets, balls, jerseys, socks and visors are provided by the RYAA.  Players are allowed to use their own equipment if they wish.
